| I am an architect, designer, poet, artist. I have 24 solo paintings exhibitions in Bulgaria and abroad. The last of them: “THE LIGHT – A METAPHOR OF THE SPIRIT’’, dedicated to the International Year of Light of UNESCO, were shown under the patronage of UNESCO at the State Cultural Institute of MFA (17.07.2015 ) and at the COUNCIL OF EUROPE / Strasbourg on the occasion of the National Holiday of Bulgaria (03.03.2016); and the exhibition “LIGHT AND SYMBOL” - at Bulgarian Cultural Institute, London (17.03.2017), at the galleries LIK, Ikar and at Union of Architects of Bulgaria (2016 – 2019); "Unity and tolerance" at Polish Institute Sofia as a part of "Days of Remembrance" Conference (22.01.2025г.). I created the LOGO of the Bulgarian Chairmanship of the Council of Europe (2016). My paintings are in private and diplomatic collections in Japan, USA, France, Russia, Israel, Argentina, SA, Tunis, Australia, Italy, Spain, Germany, India, China, Netherlands and Bulgaria. My painting “Fortress, Home, Temple – three initiations in Tarnovo-city” was chosen like a gift from Bulgaria to the Council of Europe for its 25 Anniversary and was given from Bulgarian Permanent Representation there (ceremony on 03.05.2017). My painting "SOFIA - a symbol of the Unity" is on the cover of "Togetherness of Religions and Communities in Bulgaria", a publication of the Diplomatic Institute at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (12.05.2025). My painting “THE TREE OF LOVE” was cordially accepted from Pope FRANCIS during his Apostolic journey in Bulgaria (06.05.2019), because it expresses the same ideas as his Appeal for Peace and Tolerance and was “a gift from all Bulgarians, who has preserved for centuries these traditions”... I believe that the mission of the art is RE-LIGIO – RELIGIO according to the modern interpretation means recreating the bond between Man and Divine and the feeling of Oneness with the other people. |
